Artist Practice

During my time on in the Professional
Master of Education in Art and Design, I engaged with the practice of dry-point etching for the first time which re-ignited my passion for drawing. I created these portraits of family members as a way of exploring texture and mark making. The portrait on the right was created digitally using Procreate on an Ipad and the protrait on the left was is a dry-point etching print. This process informed a Unit of Learning delivered to 1st year student during my first teaching placement.
